About Google Visualizations API Joomla Component

The Google visualization API allows you to use your custom data in any of the API's visualization formats:

Bar charts | Line charts | Dygraphs | Pie charts | Google maps | Scatter charts | Tables | Annotated timelines·| Area chart

And integrate them into any of the available visualizations. What this means is that you can use the same data and display it quickly in a line chart or also in a pie chart or a bar chart or any other chart format. There is no need to reformat the data once it has been inputed it can be shared across the API plugins. This saves money and time because you don't have to·monkey·around with your data trying to·restructure·it so that it works in anew chart. Also this·approach·is·intuitive·which makes it easy to use.

Another Great feature of this approach is that as·Google·develops more visualizations or even third parties design libraries that create new visualizations or graphs they can be quickly integrated into the component. You don't need to reinstall the entire·Joomla! component only add a new plugins.

Here is·what is really cool about using Joomla! to deliver your content and graphs. Joomla is easy to learn, easy to install and with the FLEXIcontent component you have a great CCK (Content Construction Kit). Joomla also is free and open source so by using it you help extend the reach of open source software. Joomla as well as J-visualization is the product of many hours of work and the product of very experienced people working very hard and long and late hours to try to bring you something that is extremely useful and at a lower cost. For example in developing this software we spent countless of hours late into the night all the while knowing that by incorporating the Google Visualizations.

Google's Visualization API is already full of great ideas. It has lots of graphs and visualizations already available but along with being able to incorporate these things into Joomla! you can choose to also add Google Maps or other·features. The way this·Joomla! component·structure is designed is that it allows you to reuse a lot of code.
